Optional translation

Apple on-device translation uses supported languages and downloaded models on iOS 26 or later. Optional AI uses your own HTTPS provider and API key, after you consent to that provider.

iPhone · iOS 17+ for ordinary typing and Buffer · No app account, ads or keyboard-text telemetry. External AI requires Full Access. Availability of Apple translation depends on your system and language models.
